If anyone should ever write my life story

Odis and my love story has a lot of connection to country music love stories.  On his hour and half commute to Little Rock in 1973, he listened to a country music radio station.  They always talked to his heart.  Somehow, he could understand the words.  Sometimes I have to google the lyrics to see what they are singing.  He didn't have "google" in 1973.  There were so many that would seem to be just our situation and he would buy a 45 RPM record and mail to me in Conroe and say "Listen to this song".  This is a clip from my book and explains what I mean!

Chapter Eighteen - Through The Years With Music

We were on the way to Hot Springs in September and the Ray Price song “You’re The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me” came on the radio.  Ray Price had just took the song to No. 1 on the Billboard chart and Odis loved the song.  When it started playing he looked at me and said, “You ARE the best thing that ever happened to me!”   I listened to the words and it made me cry when I realized that he thought that about me.  This song was released in August, 1973 and he bought the 45 RPM and gave it to me.

There is a line in the song “If anyone should ever write my life story, For whatever reason there might be,  you’d be there between each line of pain and glory”. 

I want to write his life story to show the heart of a wonderful loving man.  My love story could never have happened without him in my life.  He really is the best thing that ever happened to ME!  He was the best Christian, husband, father and lover ever!  I miss him in each of those positions.
