WOW.... 7 months since last blog

I can't believe I have not blogged in 7 months.... almost to the day!   We got a new puppy last May 31 and trust me....  "Old people DO NOT need puppies".   Their energy is endless!  ha ha

She is a Shorkie and was a rescue dog.   I am beginning to understand her "dog language".  If she barks and shakes her head side to side and her ears flop like pig tails, she wants to go outside.  If she just looks at me and yelps, she wants me to put my recliner up so she can sit on the foot by my legs.  :)    I think rescue dogs are a little insecure at first.  They don't know if you are going to keep them or not.  We named her Muffin and call her Munchkin Muffin.   She is very independent, a little stubborn and spoiled.  Kinda like my daughters  ha ha

I encourage you if you need a dog, get a rescue dog.  They are cute and loveable.
