My Embarrassing Moment that ended up on Twitter and Facebook

I am not a really sensitive person and I don't wear my feelings on my sleeve.  I think that I wear my "big girl panties" well and can be strong.

I did however have an unusual embarrassing moment that found it's way on Twitter and Facebook.

I had a medical problem that was female.....  Okay, I had a urinary tract infection....
went to my doctor and she gave me a shot and 2 prescriptions, 1 for an antibiotic and one for cream for the "affected area".    I wasn't feeling exactly "up to par" so I was caught off guard and "stunned" when the pharmacy clerk at SavOn told me that they had a new policy and she would have to know where the cream would be applied.  I asked if this had something to do with the new Obamacare policy but she said it was THEIR new policy.
Very reluctantly, I said "on my touche".  A man was standing nearby and kinda snickered and then looked embarrassed as was I when I realized what had happened.

I was still in shock when I called  Diane and told her what had happened.  She went into orbit and said, "Mom, she can't ask you that, you need to call the manager"...   In the meantime, Karmyn called and she went into a "higher orbit" and called the pharmacy  herself but they were closed, so she tweeted it to @Albertsons and got an immediate response. The lady was very nice and told her she would investigate and find out about the situation and give her a personal call back.

In the meantime, I went back to my doctor for a checkup and told her and her nurse what had happened and they both said she should not have asked me that.  My doctor said that if she had a new policy and if she had a problem with the prescription, she should have called her, my doctor.    I felt that even if she had been within her rights to ask me that, she should have pulled me to a private area.  I was embarrassed and not a happy camper over my experience and even though, the area manager handled it very professionally and nicely and gave Karmyn a personal phone call back, she understands that even though I have used that pharmacy for 15 years,  I will be going elsewhere with my prescription needs.

I love both of my daughters for looking out for their "elderly" mom.  ha ha
